Athens, Greece – Two ceremonial guards at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier in Athens, the capital city of Greece in Europe, put on the marching display they do every fifteen minutes. Photo shows them locking boots as part of their drill. Called Evzones or Evzoni, they carry rifles with bayonets fixed on them and wear typical navy blue and red Greek Ceremonial Guard winter uniforms known as Fustanella. They are quite tall as they have to meet a minimum height requirement to be eligible for appointment to the Presidential Guard. Behind them is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Photo shot in the late morning sunlight. Horizontal format. Copy Space. © Mano Chandra Dhas
