Bogotá, Colombia – Looking downhill on one of the narrow streets of the historical La Candelaria district of Bogotá, the Andean capital city of the South American country of Colombia. It is in this area that the Spanish Conquistador, Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada founded the city in 1538. Many of the walls in this area are painted with street art, legends of the pre Colombian era, or just in the vibrant colours of Latin America. @0th July is National Day and a holiday in Colombia; the streets therefore do no have the normal vehicular traffic. Flags can also be seen on various buildings to celebrate National Day. The sky is overcast: it will probably rain shortly. Photo shot on a cloudy morning; horizontal format. Copy space.
