Rome, Italy – The triumphal arch of Constantine as seen from the Coloseum in the Italian capital city of Rome. Dedicated in 315 AD., it is situated between the Colosseum and the Palatine Hill on the via Triumphalis, the route taken by Roman Emperors when they entered the City in triumph. In the background are some old Umbrella Pines that can be seen. In the foreground are many tourists moving between the Colosseum and the Forum. Photo shot in the afternoon sunlight; vertical format.
