Rome, Italy – Tourists throng the Piazza di Spagna (also called the Spanish Steps) in Rome; the Square is a ‘must see’ on the list of every tourist to the City of Rome. There has been a slight drizzle: some people use their umbrellas. The fountain in the middle of the Square is called Fontana della Baracaccia (translated, “fountain of the old boat”), built in 1629 -1629, is often credited to Pietro Bernini, father of his more famous son Gian Lorenzo Bernini. To the left of the photo are the famous Babington Tea Rooms. Photo shot in the late evening sunlight; horizontal format. © Mano Chandra Dhas
