The ruins of what was once the splendour of the Roman empire in the capital city of Rome in Italy. In the background is the Arch of Titus, a 1st Century honorific arch located on the ancient Via Sacra. It was constructed in 82 AD by the Emperor Domitian, shortly after the death of his older brother Titus, to commemorate Titus’ victories including the Seige of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Several old Umbrella Pines can also be seen. Some people can be seen; but none can be recognised due to the distance. The Arch which will lead on to the ancient Roman Forum.
