Travel Stock Photos of Dubai
A Resident’s Perspective
For thirty-three years, Dubai was home.
I arrived when the skyline was still negotiating with the desert. When the Creek mattered more than the tallest tower. When trade, not spectacle, defined the rhythm of the city.
These photographs are not postcards. They are lived moments.
Morning light over Deira before the heat settled in. Abras crossing the Creek with quiet determination. Construction cranes sketching the future against a pale Gulf sky. Glass towers catching fire at dusk while the old souks continued their patient bargaining.
Dubai is often photographed as a headline.
I prefer the footnotes.
The city grew. I kept shooting. Not chasing hype, but watching evolution. Commerce, ambition, reinvention. A place that never apologised for wanting more.
This collection reflects that long view. Not a visitor’s glance, but a resident’s memory.
