Bogota, Colombia: Looking upwards towards the Cathedral on Plaza

Bogota, Colombia – Looking skywards on Calle 11 or translated, Street 11, towards the 19th Century Catedral Primada on Plaza Bolivar. The Street leads into the Plaza. This view is from the rear of the cathedral, which is actually situated on the Plaza. There is obviously an exhibition going on in the building to the right which has the Mexican Flag displayed on it, signifying a connection to the country. To the lower left hand side of the image there is a construction area that has been boarded off. The boards contain some generic description of certain places in the city, in Spanish. No release is required to cover the script. Photo shot in the afternoon sunlight, on an overcast day: even though there is a bit of blue in the sky; there is already a drizzle, creating a need for umbrellas. Horizontal format. Copy space. ©Mano Chandra Dhas
