Looking towards the Santos Dumont Airport and beyond, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is the city’s second major airport. Formerly known as Calabouço Airport, it’s history can be traced back to the early 1930s. The two main runways of the airport can be clearly seen. An aircraft has just taken off from the airport. In the background is the Rio-Niterói Bridge, the sixth longest bridge in the world which runs across Guanabara Bay. It connects Rio and Niterói. All around, is the Atlantic Ocean. Photo shot in the morning sunlight; horizontal format. No people. Copy space.
