The Trevi Fountain in Rome. Every tourist to the City has to come here to throw his/her coin into the fountain to ensure a return to to the Italian Capital. The Baroque Fountain was designed by Nicola Salvi. Work commenced in 1732. It was completed in 1762 well after Salvi’s death in 1751 by Giuseppe Pannini. The backdrop for the fountain is the Palazzo Poli. © Mano Chandra Dhas
