Athens, Greece – The Hotel Grand Bretagne was one of the first buildings to be built on Syntagma Square. From 1856 to 1873 the building housed the French Archaeological School. It was converted to a hotel in 1874 and has been home to many a famous visitor to the Country during their stay in the Greek capital city of Athens. Some cars and people can be seen on the street.
