Athens, Greece – The Erectheion as it stands today on the north side of the Acropolis in Greece. It was built between 421 and 406 BC, and dedicated to Athena and Poseidon. To the left of the photo is the Porch of the Caryatids, named after the six statues of Korae (maidens), who appear to support the roof of the porch with their heads. Some tourists are seen walking past the temple. Photo shot in the morning sunlight; horizontal format. © Mano Chandra Dhas
