Bogota, Colombia - light rain on Plaza Bolivar

Bogota, Colombia – Looking towards the North Eastern corner of Bolivar Square in the Andean Capital city of Bogota in Colombia, South America. To the left of the image is the ‘Palacio de Justicia’ or translated, the Palace of Justice. It is the seat of the country’s Supreme Court. To the right, is the Catedral Primada, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Colombia. It has begun to rain; some have umbrellas open, other pull up their hoodies and some do not care. Almost all the people in the image are local Colombians. Like many other squares across the world, there are plenty of pigeons on the square, waiting for visitors to feed them. Photo shot in the afternoon sunlight on a cloudy day; there are no harsh shadows. Horizontal format.
