Bogotá, Colombia – Looking down Calle 11 in the historical La Candelaria district of Bogotá, the Andean capital city of the South American country of Colombia. It has just started to rain so people walking on the street are usng umbrellas. The sky just about a kilometre down the road is blue and obviously no rain downhill. The image was shot on 20th July which is National Day in Colombia; the streets are therefore not as busy as they can normally be. Across the street in the entrance to the Casa de Moneda, which used to be the country’s mint in colonial times but is today, a Museum dedicated to coinage.
