Bogota, Colombia – Plaza Bolivar on a rainy Night

Looking from Plaza Bolivar, in the Andean Capital city of Bogota, in Colombia, South America, to the Eastern side of the Square. In full view is the front of the Catedral Primada, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Colombia. To its left is the Casa del Florero and further left, more obviously, a section of the Palacio de Justicia. In the far background, against the twilight sky, is the always present Andes Mountains. Several stars are also seen in the sky. It is now night on the square. It has been raining; lights are reflected on the stone that covers the plaza. The elevation is about 8500 feet above mean sea level. Photo shot at night; horizontal format. Copy space. © Mano Chandra Dhas
