Zipaquirá, Colombia – Looking across Independence Square in the Andean city of Zipaquira, in the South American country of Colombia towards the chapel on the hill on an overcast day. The town is located on the Eastern Range of the Andes Mountains, at an elevation of 8,690 feet above mean sea level. The present day city was established in the year 1600 AD.
