Dubai, United Arab Emirates – When the multi-million dollar Dubai Water Canal was created, it became necessary for bridges to be built on Shk Zayed Road to go over the Water Canal. Image shows the modern bridges that were constructed. Some years ago there was only a desert road here with sand on either side of the road. The bridge closer to the lens is the one for Dubai Metro.
