Kodaikanal, India – Looking from the Kodaikanal Lake on the Palani Hills, in the South Indian State of Tamil Nadu located at about 7000 feet above mean sea level to the Carlton Hotel. The colonial town and hill station, was set up by the British when they were in India. Several touroists’ cars can be seen parked by the lakeside.
