Nemocon, Colombia - The Old Halite Mines In The Town Now A Major Tourist Attraction

The interior of the old halite or salt mine in the small town of Nemocón in the Cundinamarca department of Colombia. This section has been illuminated by LED lights. There is water on the floor, and the roof of the mine shaft is reflected in what is called a “water mirror”.
